Virtual Y Reports
As part of our efforts to improve public schools, the National Center for Schools and Communities evaluates the YMCA's Virtual Y program, which provides literacy-based after-school enrichment activities for thousands of children in 105 schools throughout New York City. NCSC assesses parent and student satisfaction, the quality of the program implementation, and the impact of the Virtual Y on children's classroom behavior and academic
progress. NCSC has been the Virtual Y's evaluator since 1999.
